New London High School Band Booster Meeting: May 13, 2013
TREASURER’S REPORT
~We presently have $3099.92
*The Band Brat Fry was cancelled due to inclement weather. We now have extra boxes of brats and
*hot dogs for sale. We have 5lb boxes of cooked and frozen brats for $8.00. We also have packages of 30 frozen Oscar Meyer hot dogs for $2.00 if you are interested in purchasing either the hot dogs or brats call Sandy Renner at 428-0344.
*The buns will be donated to the Salvation Army in Appleton.
*The Band Boosters will be purchasing a new Tent for future events.
UPCOMING EVENTS
~May 22- Spring Band Concert 7:00 pm.
~May 27- Memorial Day- Parade at Taft Park and Memorial at Floral Hill Cemetery 9:00 a.m.
! All Band members should arrive at the High School by 8:40am. Eat a good breakfast and be well hydrated. Wear your band uniform with black socks and shoes. Gloves are not needed. The Band Members will be turning in their uniforms when returning to the high school.
~May 29- Jazz Band Concert 6:30 pm. Both Jazz 1 and Jazz Ensemble 2 will be performing.
~August 12 through August 16- Summer Marching Band Camp. 5:00pm until 9:00pm every day.
~August 12- A Band Booster Information Meeting for parents will help in the commons at 5pm.
~September 14- Cheese and Sausage Festival- The Band Boosters will be having a booth and Jazz 1 will be playing this fall.
CONTINUING FUNRAISER
Please continue to save over the summer the following item to help support the band program.
*Milk Caps from Kwik Trip, Morning Glory Golden Guernsey, Kemps and Swiss Valley.
*Piggy Wiggly Receipts. Collected materials can be brought to school Next Fall.
